Catching up on some reading....

I am Youthfront West for the next three days for work and then off to Cabo for 10 days. Every year I usually take a few books I want to read while I am out of town. Below are the books I am reading currently. Updates to follow....

 

Week of Baseball...

Anne and I were given tickets to all three Royals games last week. The Royals played the White Sox on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Night. On Monday night the Royals played into the 12th inning and lost by a bunt. Tuesday night the Royals also lost and on Wednesday the Royals finally came through with a win. In three days we watched almost ten hours of baseball and could have watched more. Someday the Royals will be World Series material again, but until then we will take what we can get...It now midnight and the All Star Game is into the 13th inning. I love summer and watching Baseball...

In Bruges...

This week I was walking the shelves of blockbuster and found the movie, "In Bruges". The movie stars Colin Farrell, which I am not a huge fan of. I must say this movie was awesome and now have a new respect for Colin Farrell. This was one of the best movies I have seen this year and I recommend checking it out...

Talk about frustration....

I am on hold again with a warranty company for my broken tv. The company Warrantech has some of the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. They don't want to help with the cost of the tv that is under extended warranty.

The part that really irretates me is this.... I call in to talk to them and they have the hold music as the song "I'm so Excited" on repeat. Why couldn't they play something at least a little better... Elton John makes people happy.

I ask this, who's running this company, obviouly someone who has not been mad and then had to sit and listen to "I'm so Excited" fiveteen time in a row.....
